My point of view about the article of Mr. Jeff Pappone

(One common reason to go the made to measure route is a desire to use a fabric or style that simply isn't available in ready to wear products.

"If you want six pockets instead of four or you want something unusual that the fashion market isn't offering — some people prefer Nehru collar or safari pockets on their jacket —that's the thing you can address in made-to-measure," Morgante says.)

My point is that what Pappone write is not everything wrong but it is not right as well because the most important point are missing.

!. When you buy ready made suit you have problems normally with the jacket and not only the pant. The sleeves length are one ( too long or too short), the waist (small belly, big belly, no belly), the shoulder ( slopping, straight). All that can be alterated but I don't thing that a ready made suit look better that a made on measurment suit after all those alterations.

2. The buttons on the sleeves? On ready made jacket you cannot have buttons with real buttons holes because you cannot shorten the sleeves after that.

3. On the ready made suit it is very rare to find hand pick lapel and front.

4. About the pant as well, 1 back pocket or 2 back pocket, In the front slanted or straight pocket, 1 or 2 pleats or no pleat. Have you really the choice.

5. Now the most important is that peoples whom wear suit everyday will like to have 2 pants with one jacket because you use the pants more that the jacket. You will take you jacket out at your office but not your pants, same when you drive a car and don't forget that you are seat all day on your bum.

Can you get a ready made suit with 2 pants? NO.

I thing that Jeff Pappone is just a good advertisement for Mr. Morgante

Another thing is that Mr. Morgante as normally only young customers, that one reason why he can sell ready made suits with out too many alterations.

I thing the best is that peoples should read more books about clothes and see what they need for them self.

I still not understand why a made to measure suit look cheap and that Armani or whom else look better. Where is the reason and fact to say that, can the peoples whom say that can explain to us were is and what is the difference. I would really like to hear Pappone.

FINAL: A ready made suit for 790.-$ is just too much when you know that those designer are making theses suits in China, Thailand (Saha union), Vietnam and few others country in south America.
