My opinion on tuxedo
I do a lot of tuxedo but i will recommend always a shawl lapel with 1 button or a notch lapel with 2 or 3 buttons and single breast.Tuxedo should have 1 vent in the back and can be 1 to 2 inch longer that a normal suit.The lapel, the button and the pocket have to be shining with satin fabric.For 1 button shawl lapel the buttons should be as well cover buttons.( on the sleeves as well ).
The peak lapel will look to old and make you look bigger.
The pant have no belt loops but 2 buttons on each side to tight them,no pocket in the back or only 1 pocket,the front pocket are on the seam because the satin band down to the bottom.
That my advice for your first tuxedo but if you have already 2 or 3 tux you can go for 7 buttons or double breast.
